Although Mellington Hall Hotel is in a rural setting there are many things to enjoy in the locality during the evenings.

In 2010 the hotel has a varied programme of entertainment for both its guests and the public to enjoy. There are regular food and drink nights with special themes like Tapas Night and Carvery Evening, and there are a number of entertainment packages, like the planned "Casino Night with Cocktails and Nibbles".

There will be themed party nights throughout the Christmas period including the traditional Christmas Eve Menu with Carol Singers, and on New Years Eve we always have live music to dance into the New Year.

There are many venues nearby which provide excellent professional and amateur entertainment. The SPARC centre at Bishops Castle hosts a wide range of plays and concerts, and theatre Hafren in Newtown is one of the main venues for touring theatre and opera in Wales.
