Fairbourne beach is located close to the mouth of the Mawddach estuary between Llwyngwril and Arthog in Gwynedd, Southern Snowdonia, North Wales. The beach is a two mile stretch of sand backed up with natural pebble banks. The excellent quality of water (2007) is popular for swimming, windsurfing, surfing, canoeing, and sailing. Facilities include toilets, including disabled facilities, shops, caf?s, promenade, leisure centre and of course the Fairbourne Railway that chugs along the coast from Fairbourne Station to meet the ferry boat from Barmouth...

Barmouth is located on the west coast of Wales and lies between the Snowdonia National Park and the sea. The beach is large and ideal for family holidays with miles of golden sands which makes it perfect for sunbathing and games. The beach can get very busy during the summer yet its size means those wanting to get away and relax in peace and quite can do so easily. The town itself has an extensive range of shops, pubs, hotels and other accommodation. There is also a funfair from March to October. Beach facilities include cafe, fish and chips, promenade, funfair, dog exercise area, lost child centre.

Aberdyfi is a beautiful little resort and is very popular with visitors due to its golden sandy beaches and the clear blue waters of the Blue Flag Beach.
There's plenty to do with boat trips and fishing trips from the harbour, and a choice of activity holiday watersports including canoeing, sailing, and windsurfing.
Families wiith young children love it as the wide expanses of sand are ideal for children's games.
Or you could just laze on the beach and enjoy the fantastic views. The yacht club is the focal point of all the water...

Borth beach is located on the Cardigan Bay coast between the Dyfi estuary and the town of Aberystwyth in the county of Ceredigion, West Wales. The beach is a shingle beach stretching almost three miles to Ynyslas. When the tide recedes however a fine sandy beach is revealed. The beach is popular for swimming, surfing, fishing, and windsailing, ... and for walking the dog out of season. As with most of the beaches on the west coast of Wales the water is clear and of excellent quality (2007). Facilities include toilets and disabled toilets. Borth beach also has a slipway for launching small boats and a cafe close by...

Tywyn beach is relatively safe for surfing as it is a long straight beach with no rocks or tidal rip. Tywyn beach is especialy popular with surfers as the westerly swells bring in the surfable waves. The Dyfi Estuary is located on Cardigan Bay, in the west of Wales. The estuary forms part of the boundary between Gwynedd and Ceredigion. The area is designated a Special Protection Area (SPA) for the conservation of wild birds. The area comprises the estuary and adjoining saltmarsh and includes sandbanks, mudflats, peat bogs, river channels, meanders and creeks. Aberystwyth north beach is located between the headlands of Aberystwyth Castle and Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion on Cardigan Bay. It is a sand and shingle beach backed by a colourful crescent of hotels and guest houses and a nicely paved promenade. The water is lovely and clear and there are lifeguards on the beach during the summer holidays. Being west facing you will be treated to beautiful sunsets on Aberystwyth beach. Families are well catered for with boat trips into Cardigan Bay and traditional seaside entertainments such as donkey rides and childrens' games. For the more active there is windsurfing, canoeing and sailing from Aberystwyth beach.
