Mellington Civil Wedding Ceremony - The Venue      

It is difficult to imagine anywhere more perfect for a civil wedding ceremony than Mellington Hall Hotel – a superb country house wedding venue in Powys, Wales. This beautiful house surrounded by stunning countryside is simply one of the most romantic locations you can find.

The large reception hall with its panelled high ceiling and mid height panelled walls, comfy sofas and chairs, is the ideal place to welcome guests to pre reception cocktails or champagne reception.

There are a number of function suites available depending on the size of the wedding. The William Morris Room can seat up to 60 guests, and can be used for a sit down banqueting meal or a knife and fork buffet. It also has a private bar, and the room will easily cater for a disco or band for your evening wedding reception. The Shropshire Lounge can accommodate up to 25 people for the ceremony itself, or 10 for the wedding banquet. This can also take place in the Panelled Dining Room, seating 40, and the Cwm Dining Room, seating 18.
